NOW FOR NEWS FROM THE MARBLE QUARRY:

We have a new item in our play yard, that your kids or grandkids should enjoy.
See it's picture here

Our play yard is designed as a learning experience for ages 2 to 12. For ages 13 to 18, we will now have a game room for them. It will be located in a seperate building, within visual distance of the office and other recreational facilities (straight ahead as you come in the driveway). There will be 5 video games.

Bring your kids bicycles along, but also bring safety helmets (required by law). We have done some remodeling at the swimming pool, too.

We have been remodeling the fire circle: We have added more seating and better lighting. Laurie Brandon, our folk singer, will be giving free performances on eight Saturday nights this year. On Saturdays when Laurie is not singing, we will have a marshmallow roast (we provide free marshmallows with sticks) and an educational program (for all ages of kids - up to age 110).

Two highly rated programs have been developed by Ralph: 'Ancient Rivers of Gold' and 'History of the Bell Columbia Marble Quarry', which will show actual pictures taken while the quarry was operating during the 1920s. See how they did it!

Prior to the Camp Fire, will be an Ice Cream Social, preceded by a BBQ. These will be seperate events with tickets for both sold in the office.

After adventuring for the day, come back and enjoy an old fashioned jumbo hamburger or super duper hot dog, including chips and beverage. Dessert will be the Ice Cream Social. Visit with old friends - make new friends!

Who wants to bother cooking after an enjoyable day of adventure (or relaxing in the shade)?

Let us cook for you! This will begin when the weather warms up a bit.

A new feature this year will be the 'Marble Quarry Club'. Members who stay here for ten nights during a twelve month period, will get the next two nights free. Membership is free. Next time you register, ask for a free membership card.

Yes, we are family oriented! We realize that many families are having a tough time during this tight economic period. Therefore, for members of the Marble Quarry Club, we will charge only for the first two kids, and additional kids are free. This applies to grandkids, as well.

Hint: Grandparents, get better acquainted with your grandkids. Bring them camping with you. Second hint: bring a tent for them to sleep in outside your RV. Third hint: If your grandkids are pre-schoolers, take advantage of our mid-week rates.

See you here: (866) MQRVING (677-8464)
